What to Expect

Your First Visit

The practice is located in the heart of Westport in a secure building so when you arrive you will need to use the intercom to be rang in. Our parking lot is a fenced lot and is located to the west of the building on 40th street. You will be greeted you as you enter our suite and offered water or tea.  At your first appointment, you will be asked to fill out and intake form to gather information pertaining to your health.

Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a, comfortable room, where soft music will be played to help you relax. Your therapist will leave the room after explaining what to expect during your session so you may undress in private and get on the table under the linens. You will be appropriately/adequately covered throughout the session.

A typical full-body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck and shoulders. If you have a particular area you do not want us to work on, or if you are very sensitive in a certain area, please let the therapist know in order to adjust the massage to fit your needs.

We encourage you to let us know if you are not comfortable during your session. You are paying for the time, and we want you to be happy with the service provided. It is important that you let us know if a specific technique or the pressure applied is painful. Often, clients think pain during a massage is beneficial. While this may sometimes be the case, the wrong kind of pain or pressure can be damaging, cause bruises or severe muscle soreness the next day. We want to work with you to provide a beneficial treatment.
